D4.2 CRETE VALLEY Digital Twin, data-driven services & apps (second wave)
This document presents the second wave of data-driven applications and services aimed at supporting the System-of-systems Digital Twin (DT) as a digital representative of CRETE VALLEY’s assets, primarily focused on the island of Crete, Greece. The integrated solution unites multiple advanced modules and tools into a cohesive architecture that supports grid operators, energy suppliers, and consumers in optimizing energy flow, improving operational efficiency, and promoting energy autonomy.
D3.2 – Energy Data Space compliant tools for sovereign data sharing, and extended interoperability in REVs (2nd technology release)
This document presents the second iteration of the CRETE VALLEY digital backbone, marking the transition from a reference architecture to the concrete technical implementation of the Energy Data Space. It describes the functional deployment and integration of key components that enable sovereign data sharing and advanced interoperability within and across Renewable Energy Valley Living Labs in Crete. Building on the foundations defined in the first release, this update demonstrates the operational maturity of the Energy Data Space, including secure data exchange, semantic interoperability and a decentralised peer‑to‑peer marketplace.
D8.2 – Second release of the dissemination & communication plan, & progress report
This document provides an updated Communication and Dissemination Plan for CRETE VALLEY, reflecting progress achieved during the first half of the project and outlining priorities for the next phase. Building on the initial strategy, it updates key messages, performance indicators and engagement results across communication channels. The document reviews dissemination and communication activities implemented from month 1 to month 28, assesses their effectiveness through monitoring and evaluation, and presents a structured plan for future actions aimed at supporting exploitation, visibility and long‑term project impact.
D2.2 – Interactive Decision support tools for REV planning (second version)
This document presents the second stage of development of the interactive tools supporting the planning, design, and implementation of Renewable Energy Valleys. Specifically, it describes the REVplanner, a web-based Decision Support Tool that integrates different modules into a single interface supported by a shared database and enables municipalities, energy communities, professionals and citizens to explore, design and assess renewable energy initiatives in a structured and user-friendly way. The tool includes several key components, and acts as the central platform connecting technical analysis, stakeholder engagement, and decision-making processes.
D6.1 – CRETE VALLEY impact & social acceptance analysis (pre-pilot phase)
This document establishes the methodological framework for assessing the technical, environmental, social, and socioeconomic impacts of CRETE VALLEY’s Renewable Energy Valley solutions. It defines the tools, indicators, and approaches guiding the project’s “Apply & Assess” phase, integrating digital twin simulations, community engagement, system resilience analysis, and circular economy assessment to evaluate the real-life performance of Community Energy Labs.
D5.2 – Crete REV-Lab documentation (1st version)
This document presents the initial documentation of the CRETE VALLEY Renewable Energy Valley Living Lab (REV-Lab). As the first in a series of reports, it outlines the engineering design, regulatory framework, and implementation planning for the four Community Energy Labs (CELs) that form the backbone of Crete’s integrated renewable energy system. It describes the development of a geographically distributed, multi-vector energy demonstration across Arvi, Lasithi Plateau, Arkalochori, and Mires, where diverse renewable technologies are combined to address local energy needs and enhance energy autonomy.
D4.1 – CRETE VALLEY Digital Twin, data-driven services & apps (first wave)
This document presents the first wave of data-driven applications and services aimed at supporting the System-of-systems Digital Twin as a digital representative of CRETE VALLEY’s assets, primarily focused on the island of Crete, Greece. The integrated solution unites multiple advanced modules and tools into a cohesive architecture that supports grid operators, energy suppliers, and consumers in optimising energy flow, improving operational efficiency, and promoting energy autonomy.
D2.1 – Interactive decision support tools for REV planning
This document presents the initial work on interactive tools aimed at supporting the planning of REVs, primarily focused on the island of Crete under the CRETE VALLEY project. The deliverable outlines the methodologies, preliminary assessments, and tool development to facilitate informed decision-making, enhance community engagement, and foster sustainable energy transitions. The document encompasses several key areas, from identifying business requirements and functional specifications to outlining the computational modules and decision support tools that are integral to REV planning.
D3.1 – Energy data space compliant tools for sovereign data sharing, and extended interoperability in REVs
This document presents the initial work on the Energy Data Space compliant tools for sovereign data sharing, and extended interoperability in the Renewable Energy Valleys focused on the island of Crete under the CRETE VALLEY project. The work include the outlining of the used methodologies, the State-of-Art Architectural Models and (EU) Initiatives, along with the IT-related refinement of the Functional Specifications that have been described in D2.1.
D1.2 – Enabling conditions for the Crete REV-Lab
This report investigates the enabling conditions for the Renewable Energy Valley Lab (REV Lab) of the Crete Valley (CV) project. In this document, we highlight the challenges that can impede the efficacy of the REV Lab process, as well as the conditions conducive to the project's success from the perspective of local communities, stakeholders, and local implementation partners.
D1.1 – REV Lab & CELs Methodological Handbook
This deliverable outlines the Crete Valley Methodological Handbook, which provides a common approach for the integration of social dimensions through the identifications of challenges, strategies, methods and tools necessary for stakeholder engagement.
