On May 15, the CRETE VALLEY consortium gathered in Crete for the project’s first review meeting. Work Package leaders presented the progress made so far in transforming Crete into a Renewable Energy Valley.
The session began with an overview of the project’s objectives, the current status of key tasks, and milestones achieved. Community Energy Labs (CELs) managers then showcased the innovations implemented at each site and how these solutions are helping to meet the energy needs of local communities.
The review coincided with the Renewable Energy Week organised by the project in Crete, providing an ideal opportunity for the team to present their work directly to the appointed project officer on-site.

The meeting was a great success, with the project officer offering positive and encouraging feedback.
With this important milestone achieved, CRETE VALLEY is now moving forward with its next steps, including finalising the Renewable Energy Valley assets and updating the implementation roadmap.
