As climate change, pollution, economic transitions, and regional development place growing pressure on coastal and maritime regions, coordinated action is essential to unlock sustainable growth opportunities while safeguarding valuable ecosystems.
Against this backdrop, experts, policymakers, researchers, and industry professionals will gather in Tulcea, Romania, from 16–18 June for the Blue Economy Expert Forum, themed “Challenges and Opportunities in the Danube Delta: Developing the Blue Economy.”
The event will provide a platform to discuss emerging challenges and opportunities for sustainable development in the Danube Delta and beyond, with a particular focus on innovation, resilience, and regional cooperation.
During the forum, The Conference of Peripheral Maritime Regions (CPMR) will present CRETE VALLEY’s advances in renewable energy, highlighting how the project supports regional authorities and local communities in accelerating the transition towards a more sustainable and resilient future.
